Survived my 21 hours marathon shift followed by another 13 hrs shift the following day, with only 18hrs of rest between the two.....
Now I'm halfway through the second 13 hours shift.... Really shacked.... Worst still currently down with flu..... Had a slight fever yst nite but manage to bring it down by morning....
Still have one more day of work[Evening shift]..... Really contemplating to take one or two days of MC.... Further more the on-call person is TLJ.... HAHA wanted to let him have a taste of his own medicine but guess thats too evil.....
Did one case just now.... Patient had SAH... Almost 80% of patients with SAH need to have a follow-up Angiogram done..... So was able to predict that the angio mobilisation team will need to come back.... One of the main causes of SAH is aneurysms but it can also be caused by trauma to the head....
Learn some basic set-up of angio.... I really hope to be trained there one day.... Really looking forward to it though not really looking forward to working with one of the doctors...
Somehow or rather I feel that he dislikes me and God knows why......
I'm quite scared of him too I guess..... His presence can really make me very nervous and panicky....
Received quite a number of invites for CNY celebrations......
One is from that Dr himself... Well he invited the whole dept and its some sort of a yearly thing....
The second is from xiaoxia... She holding a small BBQ gathering and only me, piggie and Ah-Chan is invited so its kind of a hush-hush thingy....
The third is JT.... His daughter is one-month old so they holding the 1-month celebrations for her and also to celebrate his's first daughter birthday.....
Thinking of going shopping on Thurs, to look around for gifts for the two girls....
May be meeting up with VL,JL & DW on that day for dinner though everything not confirm yet... still waiting for KS reply i guess...
VL is flying of to perth next week thurs... Its a morning flight so maybe will be able to send him off but think will be quite arkward if his family members is there cos i dont know his relatives...
The trip to Perth this coming April would most likely be postponed to August ...well all due to a lack of financial resources on my part... Guess VL wont be too happy with my decision...
On the other hand.... the weekend trip to cameron this coming 23rd is confirmed.... really looking forward to it... heard the climate and environment there is pretty relaxing so it may be a good time to unwind...
Had a long talk with Saf yst on the phone.... well was quite free yst morning so gave her a call....
She wanted the whole group of us to go on a short trip... well I suggested either Thailand or Cameron would be fine....
Cameron will be better cos I can then try out the local hiking trip there and also try out the other hotel that I was more interested in - LakeHouse Cameron Highlands
Hmmm guess will need to meet up to discuss....
Well since the Perth trip is postponed.... need to think of a cheaper place to go to....
Was thinking of Bangkok.... the flight there not too ex and the accomodation is okay too
But still contemplating to go on a package or totally on my own.....
Hai decision-making sucks... Really hate it...
My mind is slowly getting numb... Cant think so gonna stop here for now....
